During the tour of Spoleto you will see, among the remains dating back to the Roman era, a beautiful stretch of pre-Roman stone fortification that still exists, surviving from the city walls. The Romans built temples, forums, arches and most of them are still visible in the city center.

The cathedral square also acts as a setting for some concerts of the Festival dei Due Mondi which takes place every year between the end of June and the first half of July.
